Common Start Advocacy Day
April 29 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
Common Start Advocacy Day
Please join Common Start at the Massachusetts State House on April 29 to advocate directly to State Senators about the Senate budget proposal, and to uplift the Common Start asks for the FY26 budget.
Important events like this allow us to talk in-person with legislators and legislative staff about our FY26 budget priorities, including expanding C3 grants, increasing child care financial assistance to ensure families can access child care, continuing to increase funding for providers and early educators, and increasing support for Head Start, a key program for low-income families that’s at risk from the federal government.
If you are new to advocacy days or advocating directly at the State House – no worries! We will have materials and training provided for everyone who joins, and this is a great opportunity to learn first-hand how everyone in the Commonwealth can advocate for Common Start to their legislators.
